ABB Robotics has made a strategic investment in California-based LandingAI to integrate advanced visual AI capabilities into its robotic solutions. This collaboration will incorporate LandingAI's LandingLens™ platform into ABB's software suite, featuring pre-trained vision models, intelligent data workflows, and no-code tools that can reduce training time by up to 80%.

The partnership accelerates deployment in fast-growing sectors such as logistics, healthcare, and food & beverage, marking a significant step toward ABB's vision of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR).

Through its ABB Robotics Ventures arm, ABB's strategic investment will advance vision AI technology, making it faster, more intuitive, and accessible to broader user groups. The companies have already initiated pilot projects integrating LandingAI technology into existing vision applications including item picking, sorting, depalletizing, and quality inspection.
